Yes. This is a residential retreat and participants are expected to stay on-site for the full duration.
Check-in: Friday, September 18, 2026, between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Retreat begins: Friday, September 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
Check-out: Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
San Jose International Airport (SJC) is the closest airport, approximately 17 miles from Camp Via West.
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is approximately 35 miles away.

The retreat fee includes food, lodging, and class materials.

Participants should arrive before 6:00 PM on Friday and stay until 5:00 PM on Sunday. If this is not possible, please contact info@globalsage.org in advance.
No. Participants are expected to remain at the retreat site from check-in until the conclusion of the retreat.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be vegetarian Sattvic food with no onion and no garlic. Tea, coffee, and snacks will also be provided.

Rooms are dormitory-style with multiple twin beds. Private rooms may be requested, but availability is not guaranteed.
The retreat site provides dormitory lodges with electricity, heaters, hot running water, and mattresses on bunk beds. Please bring pillows, sheets, and blankets.
A linen package with one pillow, two sheets, and one blanket is available for $7.50 per person. A towel can be added for an additional $2.50.
Yes. Men and women will stay in separate quarters. School-aged children will stay gender-wise with a parent or guardian.
Please check the weather forecast and bring layers, as the weather may vary from cool to warm and damp to dry throughout the day.
Yes, common laundry facilities are available. However, guests are encouraged to bring enough clothing for two days.

Please leave expensive jewelry, valuables, video games, and unnecessary distractions at home.
Cell phone reception is limited and intermittent. Wi-Fi calling and iMessage may work. Landlines are available in the main office.
A first-aid kit will be available. Please bring any prescribed medication you may need.
All participants must follow instructions from Camp Via West staff and retreat volunteers. Parents are responsible for their children.
Smoking, alcohol, recreational drugs, and pets are not allowed. The campus is nut-free. Quiet lights-out time is between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
Before August 1, 2026: 75% refund.
August 1 to September 1, 2026: 50% refund.
After September 1, 2026 or no-show: No refund.
